Story

I am running 5k every day in January to help raise money for the amazing St Andrew’s Hospice.

In 2019 I ran the London Marathon for the Hospice and with your help raised over £5600.

This is a different challenge, but I hope you can support me again to raise funds for St Andrew’s Hospice.

2020 was so difficult for all us and it was for charities too, as they have had their fundraising ability cut back.

St Andrew's Hospice endeavours to provide a high standard of specialist palliative care to the people of Lanarkshire, encompassing human dignity and compassion.

As Lanarkshire's only specialist palliative care hospice, it provides multidisciplinary support for patients, their families and carers.

Whilst the Hospice receives funding from NHS Lanarkshire and other sources, this only partially covers the running costs.

They have also in the last few years reopened their newly refurbished specialist facility in Airdrie, which is a fantastic asset for the area, and has taken millions of pounds of fundraising to see realised.

Continued provision of these services is only made possible by the generosity and assistance of the people of Lanarkshire.

So please help me raise money to ensure that this facility can keep providing the support and care it is nationally known for.
